Dylan Thornton adds eighth win of 2025 at Stuart
Just days after being announced as the driver of the DRT house car for the upcoming Dirt Late Model Dream in early June, Dylan Thornton returned to action on Friday evening behind the wheel of the Kay Motorsports No. 38T Late Model at Stuart International Speedway for a Malvern Bank West Series event.
Thornton impressed from the outset, charging from fourth-to-first in his heat race before powering to the front in the 30-lap feature. He overtook Blair Nothdurft on lap 20 and never looked back, cruising to his eighth win of the season and a $3,000 payday.
For the Malvern Bank East Series program at Independence Motor Speedway, Thornton suffered a setback in his heat race but rallied in the main event, passing 11 cars to notch a hard-fought sixth-place finish.
