Dylan Thornton competes in WoO's Hawkeye 100 at Maquoketa
After Mother Nature claimed Friday’s opener of the doubleheader weekend, Dylan Thornton returned to Maquoketa Speedway on Saturday for the second round of the World of Outlaws Real American Beer Late Model Series-sanctioned Hawkeye 100.
Thornton secured his spot in the $20,000-to-win A-Main by taking the final transfer position in his heat race. Starting 13th in the 60-lap feature, his night came to an early end when he retired on lap 25.
