Fourth-place finish in Modified at Cedar County

Dylan Thornton took on a demanding tripleheader weekend in the Modified ranks, kicking off his campaign at Marshalltown Speedway (Marshalltown, Iowa) for the two-day King of the High Banks.

Thornton’s outing on Friday was cut short after an early exit from the main event. Returning Saturday with hopes of redemption, he came up just shy of a transfer spot into the A-Main, finishing fifth.

Thornton’s weekend concluded on Sunday with a visit to Cedar County Raceway (Tipton, Iowa) where he raced to a fourth-place finish in the Spring Fling.
